Welcome to IS Manager Help

elcome to IS Manager. The idea behind IS Manager is to create a program or a set of programs for small-to-medium businesses to manage inventory, sales things like that. Hopefully IS Manager will be a complete ERP System.
Remember IS Manager is an open source project. This program is available for anyone to use and develop off. All use of IS Manager is governed by the GPL

The installation of IS Manager is usually an automatic process. Just run the setup.exe file, and follow the onscreen installer prompts. It will display the option of installing the source code; the code is in Visual Basic .NET 2003. Download from http://ismanager.sf.net. Please remember the IS Manager uses the .NET framework this will need to be installed for it to work. The .Net framework is available directly from Microsoft. Updates to the .NET framework are available through Windows Update
IS Manager is still in development. IT IS ONLY ALPHA CODE. Please do not use it in any mission critical environments

IS Manager is currently in the alpha stage so not all features have been implanted yet. Please wait and be patient as we are working hard on this. Here are some of the features that are half-done. Currently all data is stored in plain XML files in the “C:\Data\” directory

The Inventory Management module of IS Manager manages the stock item and how many of them are in stock

The Contacts module has relatively the same interface as the inventory module.
